    Mahjong

    A group of women interested in learning to play Chinese Mah Jongg and having a fun time are willing to teach anyone interested in joining us.

  • Local Boone, NC restaurants

    Lunch Bunch

    Interested in meeting other Club members for lunch and a chat? This group goes to various restaurants in the High Country. Sometimes, the group meets outside and you provide your own lunch from home (or a carry out/drink).  It’s a fun way to get reacquainted!   

    Meeting Times: Alternating 1st Tuesday and 1st Wednesday, from 11:30am -1:30pm

    The Evening Book Club meets monthly during the academic year, discussing noteworthy books both current and classic.

    Meeting Times: The 2nd Monday (usually) of each month at 7:00 PM in the Boone United Methodist Church meeting room (on New Market).

    This group is currently exploring interest in a monthly gathering for members to socialize while working on personal projects, including visible mending, crochet, knitting, or any other portable hand crafts.
